The Gods have failed in protecting the humans from their corrupt brother and his children; the demon king has breached the southern wall and his followers have taken over the base of the southern defense -- the Southern Wing. The mounted riders, who fly on the backs of pegasi, gryphons, gyrecats and dragons, have been forced to merge into the remaining base, to one Wing in the North, where the southern veterans clash with northern attitudes.

With this demonic uprising, Elanthia trembles on the brink of chaos; demons mass in the southern wing base. The Northern Wing threatens to collapse on itself as the riders reach the end of their tethers. Even worse--the King has initiated an investigation of the events surrounding the fall of the Southern Wing. Without the Riders, citizens of Elantia\'s capital city fear a direct demon attack. To fill this void in defense, the King plans to unveil his army of selectively bred beasts, and the Knights who act as their handlers. The use of such creatures is highly controversial--to both nobles and commoners, alike.

Will the Riders be able to redeem themselves or is this the dawning of a new era, one that the King\'s Weapons and Knights will claim as their own? The ascension has begun.

However, for many years these creatures were not thriving. They refused to admit defeat when all odds were against them; they fought to remain living where they were.

And so, as night gave way to the dawn, shadows stretched out across the land; their land. These creatures would find new struggles and triumphs, new friends and enemies, truths and lies, trust and betrayals.

Will you join them in their plight to survive?

Carve out your own niche in this freestyle role play. Everyone from novice to expert is welcome. Shadow Packs hosts a variety of creatures such as wolves, horses, big cats, and dragons. Stories can be as simple or as complex as you make them.

The only limit is your imagination.

I am not trying to take anything away from her, she is amazing. This site is simply a way to extend the books purely for the enjoyment of players. This site is NOT for canon characters only. Besides Renesmee and Jacob's wedding, there will be NO other plots that center around the Cullens. The plots will be GAMEWIDE. They may not include humans, but all vampires will be included.

All you ever hear about is Hogwarts over in England. The great Harry Potter, the four great founders, the great Albus Dumbledore, and the great but terrible Voldemort. But what about the other schools across the world. What about the Durmstrang students? The Beauxbaton students? You never hear about them. And I bet you have never heard of the American institution, the Salem Witch Academy. This school is a large mansion located in the middle of an enchanted forest in Salem Massachusetts. It was founded well before the pilgrims landed at Plimouth Rock, and a few hundred years before Columbus landed at the new world. While the greats where founding Hotwarts, a group of witches set off to found their own school. It started as a girls only school, but in the last two hundred years it has allowed boys to enter these ancient halls. The four mistresses of th arts of witchcraft were the brave Ms. Terrowin, the smart Miss Athalos, the humble Mrs. Helewys, and the crafy Ms. Maerwynn. The four were sisters, and each founded their own house in a separate wing of the mansion. Here students learn, practice, live, fall in and out of love, make friends and enemies, and eventually graduate to venture out into the world.

This RPG is set in America well after Harry and the gang and has nothing to do with any HP characters.  It is a freeform RPG with no main plot and random events. We encourage original characters, but have premades for those who want to join but dont have a good character in mind. All players have a chance to play teachers, headmasters/headmistresses, parents, graduates, and students

The year is 1997 and Lord Voldemort is back and more powerful than ever. Fear flows through wizards and muggles alike. Death Eaters roam freely the streets of London, terrorizing anyone they feel like. Death and destruction plague the many and hope lies in the few. The Ministry is working overtime left and right to try and cover this up and leave the muggles oblivious, but it seems to be failing. Most are at a loss of what to do; many parents struggle with the decision to let their children return to Hogwarts for another year. In the end, many feel it is the safest decision and students return for another year. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna, Neville... they're all back. Except for one: Draco Malfoy. After the attempted (and unsuccessful) assassination of Albus Dumbledore, the Malfoys have all joined the Dark Lord in the quest for ultimate power and control. With Dumbledore still alive, some still feel hope but others question Dumbledore's ability to keep them safe due to his lack of presence at Hogwarts. With the year beginning, Dumbledore is there to give his yearly welcome speech but disappears soon after that. His communication with others is almost nonexistant. Rumors fly through the school of his whereabouts but nobody can come to a concrete answer. Has he been back? Will he be back? Nobody knows. As the year unfolds, nobody knows what will come of it but most everyone tries to go on with their daily lives. Students continue to go to class, learn to fly, play quidditch, spend weekends in Hogsmeade, and try to live life to the fullest. What will this year bring?
