Ames is a slightly futuristic roleplaying game that deals with government secrets and a city where all the elite go - child prodigies, medical researchers, military. The best of the best. It's a city where governments around the world want their people to go, if only to ensure the survival of some of their people. The avian influenza pandemic is well underway, with millions of lives lost, countless more people separated from their loved ones and those who are deemed too ordinary to be allowed into the city. Doors are opened to those who are worthy enough, but underground there's a group who believes that healthy people, even those who are nothing more than ordinary, deserve to have a chance to be in the city.

Ames has been around since 2006 and many of the members have been around since it opened. We rely on suggestions from the players to make the game the best that it can be and the dynamic in the game is constantly changing to reflect the ideas and changes that we, and maybe even you, would like to see the in characters.

Chicago, Illinois. December of 2009. After centuries of humanity losing faith in the Gods and Goddesses that once empowered the world, they have decided to take a stand for existence rather than roll over and vanish like the Egyptian Gods and the Norse Gods.  Brought to life by their very powers, sacrificing some of their prestige, the Gods have succeeded in reincarnating themselves.  Not in the way one would suppose, however.  Every time a mortal died, a body that the individual powers were rather fond of, they would inhabit the body, taking over the dead mortal to become something more.  Able to walk amongst the living now they have a purpose.  Unfortunately there is more to this scheme than meets the eye.

Not only have the Gods and Goddesses returned, but so have the various mortals and Titans of myth.  It\'s only a matter of time before they start to vie for power, their minds set like they were hundreds of years ago when Zeus first came to Mount Olympus, except this is no Mount Olympus.  This is Chicago, Illinois, and the powers that be have finally begun to surface, much to the chagrin of those who are <i>aware</i>.

It is one of the world's leading business, financial, and cultural centres, and its influence in politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion and the arts all contribute to its status as a major global city.

London has an official population of 7,512,400 (as of mid-2006) within the boundaries of Greater London and is the most populous municipality in the European Union. The urban area of London extends beyond the limits of Greater London and has a population of 8,278,251 (as of 2001). The metropolitan area is estimated to have a population of between 12 and 14 million. London's diverse population draws from a wide range of peoples, cultures, and religions, and over 300 different languages are spoken within the city. It is an international transport hub, with five major international airports serving the area and a large port. It serves as the largest aviation hub in the world, and the multi-terminal Heathrow Airport carries more international passengers than any other airport in the world.

Redcrosse Academy of Arts is located in Georgetown, Virginia. The school is a moderately budgeted boarding school centered around an arts based academic program. Students with special talents in any of the fine arts, as well as those without, are welcomed at the school. Scholarships and financial aid are available to students, bringing in a students from a broad range of social and economic backgrounds. Redcrosse practices acceptance through diversity, and has become an increasingly liberal school over the past fifteen years. This shift in atmosphere has caused a stir within the local community as the art produced by the students in Redcrosse has become more politically driven and offensive. While a good number of students are producing "respectable" art, the school board and alumni have begun to worry that the more radical students may tarnish the school's long-standing reputation.

Back then, it was the devils music and you were his worshiper even if you just listened to it. This aspiring artist, he didn\'t think so. He wanted to prove to the world that Rock wasn\'t the devils music. It was a gift from God to be able to play the kind of music that he did. And did he ever prove that. Today, there are hundreds of bands in the genre of rock. Though, there are more catergories these days. Alternative, emo, screamo, hardcore, metal, indie, and many more. That aspiring artist is now the dean of Rockstar University. His name isn\'t important, he only cares about people knowing the music he plays. Rockstar University teaches its students the art of the music industry. You can come here to learn business, and what it takes to make your own record label. Mostly, you can come here to pursue your dream to be one of those artist that kids talk about, hear on the radio, and one of those artists that makes it on the charts. To come to Rockstar University, you have to have the drive to want to be just that, an amazing musician.

Watermark is a contemporary, no-frills, realistic human RPG set in a mid-sized city. The game is an old classic and makes the guarantee that it will not be closed down mere weeks or months after you join. Watermark may need a face-lift, but it refuses to die. Writing, joining posts, and character development are all held to a very high standard, but other than that, the game and all its members and 'staff' are extremely laid back.

Welcome to Fairville, Nebraska, one of the few remaining towns in which humans can thrive. Every house is surrounded by chain link fences and barbed wire. The streets are littered with what used to be cars. Humans live here with as much peace anyone can get these days while zombies roam the wilderness, occasionally making it to the neighborhoods. These are the ones who have been infected. These are the ones who we are told cannot be saved. There's only one way to save yourself if you meet one of the infected.

But from a lab deep in the city, a scientist boasted of a cure, a serum which could save the infected. It brought a faint glimmer of hope until it was found to be so potent that it kills anyone it is administered to. In the labs, the scientists continue to work; in the Fort, the military tries to keep control; in the suburbs, the citizens fight on their own terms.
